Learn Vedic Astrology by Correspondence Course
 Learn Vedic Astrology 1 is our fundamental correspondence course and Learn Vedic Astrology 2 is our intermediate follow up correspondence course.
For support, each student is invited to contact Yildiz each week by phone or email, to discuss astrology lesson content and to ask any astrology questions of the previous astrology lesson.
In the Vedic Correspondence courses you will receive :
- A book of 10 astrology lessons
- CD’s to accompany each astrology lesson
- We send you your own astrology chart to study along side the astrology course material. you will use it throughout the course. There are 2 courses - first is basic course and the second is intermediate course.
On payment, you will be asked to provide your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth, for your astrology chart. If you are unsure of your birthtime, a rectification can be done to ascertain it. We use Paypal as our preferred payment processor, as it is fast, easy and secure. Please note it is not necessary to have a Paypal account to use their service.

Learn Vedic Astrology 1 (Learn the Fundamentals)
Course Outline :
- Astrology Signs and Chart format.
An introduction to the philosophy of Indian astrology and also a first step in looking at the lay out of charts. North and south Indian formats. You will also be introduced to horoscope signs and houses.
- Elements and qualities of each sign
Looking at life purpose, wealth, desires and spirituality, water fire and air and cardinality, fire and mutable signs.
- The planets
An introduction to the planets used in Vedic astrology.
- Rahu. Ketu. Dasas
Looking at the deep, mystical significance of rahu and ketu, the karmic axis Introducing planetary periods.
- Houses
The significance of the twelve houses and their many layers of meaning.
- House Classification
Classifying the favorable and more challenging houses in the chart.
- Aspects
Becoming familiar with the planetary gaze of one planet to another or to a house.
- Strength of planets and houses
Learning how to assess the strength of planets and houses in the chart.
- Functional Benefics & Functional Malefics
Finding which planets are favourable for each of the rising signs and why.
- Dasas & Examining Charts
Looking at planetary periods (these are not transits) and how life karma unfolds.
